Removability is required in many occasions, but many technical data of removable adhesive vinyl products on the market are not very clear. Some removable adhesive vinyl products can be removed within 3 months or 1 year, and some say they can be removed at the required temperature. But for ordinary consumers, it may not be clear whether the product is removable or non-removable. This article briefly introduces how K2 usually conducts glue removal performance tests according to FTM in K2’s laboratory. Our usual glue test is carried out in an oven, keeping the temperature at 70 degrees for 7 days. Then a 180-degree peel test was performed. If there is no residual adhesive after 180 degree peeling, we define it as removable adhesive vinyl. What does this test mean to the end users? Simply put, the conclusion of this test is that if you use it for peeling, walls, floors, paint, metal surfaces, etc., even in outdoor high temperature environments (such as high temperatures in Dubai or high temperatures and humidity in Australia), there will be no glue after removal.
